Call for Reunion Planning Volunteers

Lots of people are needed to make the reunion happen, so don't be shy. Step up and volunteer.

Please reply to this post if you are interested in serving as the chair/or co-chair for one of the following subcommittees, or if you would like to serve on one of the subcommittees.

Reunion Planning Subcommittees

Communication/Marketing

• Responsible for communicating with OHS Alumni and promoting all aspects of Reunion Weekend. Includes: website, email marketing, social networking sites, Twitter.

Registration/Check-In

• Responsible for reunion registration process. Coordinate check-in table & information area during reunion weekend.

Old OHS Forever School Building Tour/Open Houses

• Coordinate bus tour and/or open houses at each of the Orrville City School buildings – new and old. Determine displays, staffing, schedules.

We’ll Always Think of You Alumni Association Luncheon

• Coordinate fundraising luncheon for OHSAA that serves to acknowledge OHS Alumni of the Year recipients, honor alumni & faculty that have passed away.

The Spirit That We Found Here Football Game

• Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Friday night activities at Red Rider Stadium. This is the kick-off event for reunion weekend. This committee includes representatives to coordinate football game, cheerleaders, marching band, majorettes.

Growing Up So Strong and True Street Festival

• Responsible for coordinating a family friendly street festival in downtown Orrville on Sat afternoon. Schedule entertainment, food vendors, activities.

Hold Fast to Friendships Made Here Tribute Show

• Responsible for coordinating Sat evening program based on the “Friendship” theme. Determine format, collect stories and tributes from alumni, organize participants.

Joy & Memories SWEET Block Party

• Responsible for coordinating Sat evening Block Party in downtown Orrville. Focus on young alums (and young at heart). Schedule musical entertainment, food vendors, beer garden, etc.

Old Orrville High We Love You Activities
Coordinators are needed for each of the following extra-curricular activities.

• Alumni Baseball Game - Josh Randles
• Other suggestions welcome

We’ll Always Be True Worship Service

• Coordinate a Sunday morning service in Red Rider Stadium. Include a message, alumni choir, special music, goodwill offering.
